Flight Arrivals at Naples Airport

Naples International Airport has only one terminal which is used for all flights, arriving and departing. The airport is located just 20 minutes by car from Naples city center, and provides travelers arriving in Italy with many onward travel options.

At Naples International Airport the Tourist Office is open every day from 8.00 am to 8.00 pm. It is located on the ground floor of the arrivals area, and can offer advice on tourist attractions in Naples and surrounding area, as well as offer assistance with regard to onward travel by coach, taxi or shuttle, (infopointaeroporto@gmail.com, tel +39 081 789634). It is also possible to purchase tickets for the Alibus airport shuttle in the arrivals hall and onboard the shuttle.

The arrivals hall also offers travelers onward assistance via a travel agency on the ground floor. This travel agency is open on weekdays from 9.00 am to 7.00 pm, and on Saturdays and Sundays from 10.00 am to 6.00 pm (+39 081 23 11 281). The travel agency can arrange for flight and train tickets, cruise travel or assist with bookings for organised tours and trips.

Naples Airport is also well served by a number of car rental companies in or near the airport.

WiFi

Passengers have access to free WiFi throughout the terminal. They can connect to the Gesac network by clicking on the relevant link when they open their portable device. A welcome page appears where passengers can register or they can go directly through their Facebook, Twitter or Linkedin accounts to log onto the airport's network.

Luggage Storage Area

Passengers planning to travel into central Naples for just a few hours have the opportunity to leave their luggage in a monitored luggage area on the first floor of the terminal, in the departures area before security control. Luggage storage starts from 10.00 euros for the basic service.

Taxi Rank

A taxi rank is located just outside the terminal, offering flat rates to urban areas. Fares are increased for night time travel, for extra luggage allowances, transporting animals and they include airport charges. A single trip to Naples Central Station for example costs around 19.00 to 21.00 euros, the same as the fare for a single trip into the city's historic center. A private taxi transfer can be booked online in advance and costs around 34.00 euros for up to four people travelling one-way.

Shuttle Services, Urban and Suburban Buses

Passengers wishing to travel by bus into Naples can buy their bus for the Alibus shuttle in the arrivals area, on the ground floor of the multistory parking facility, where a parking payment station is located. A bus stop for the airport bus is in the bus parking area, next to the P1 short-term parking facility.

Shuttle service Alibus provides services between the airport, Naples main train station and the harbour. The first service of the day leaves the airport at 6.00 am, arriving at Naples Central Station twenty minutes later. By 6.40 am the Alibus shuttle arrives at the port. The final service of the day leaves at 11.00 pm, going only to Naples train station. A single ticket costs 5.00 euros per person.

Passengers should note that it is only possible to use the Alibus ticket for one journey, and that the ticket is only valid for 90 minutes after purchase. Tickets can also be bought onboard the Alibus shuttle.

Buses also leave the airport for suburban destinations and onward travel to cities like Salerno, Amalfi or Potenza.

Autolinee Buonotourist goes to Salerno

Sita buses also go to Salerno, and Beducci Travel Bus goes to Amalfi. Pintour buses also travel to Amalfi, and Liscio buses run between the airport and Potenza, a city some two hours away from Naples.
