Flight Departures at Naples Airport
Located within a 20-minute drive from the city of Naples, in the Capodichino district, Naples International Airport offers travelers some 14 domestic and 82 international destinations from Terminal 1. Just under 9.94 million passengers used the airport in 2018.
There are 64 check-in counters in the departure hall, and departures are handled via 19 gates and 3 bridges. Passengers arriving by car can leave their vehicles in long or short-term parking facilities – there are more than 2,000 car parking spaces available in several parking lots.
Around 37 airlines use Naples International Airport, flying to destinations like Paris and Rome, Malta, Zurich, Brussels and Munich, London, Stockholm and Tel Aviv. Airlines like Alitalia, Air France, Brussels Airlines, easyJet, KLM, Vueling, Ryaniar, SAS and Aer Lingus use Naples International Airport.
Passengers will find 3 shopping areas at the airport, as well as several dining and refreshment areas.
On the ground floor, there is a mini-market, selling newspapers, tobacco products and gifts. This shop is open from 7.00 am to 9.00 pm. The first floor offers travelers a shopping arcade that is also open during these hours. After passing through the security check area, passengers can enjoy a meal at a snack bars or sushi bars in the boarding area on the first floor or relax with a drink in a wine bar on the ground floor in the boarding area. Shops in this area include consumer electronics outlets and a shop selling leather goods, as well as a menswear outlet.
For last minute postcards or letters, there is the Post Office in the external departures area. The Post Office is open from Mondays to Fridays from 8.00 am to 1.30 pm, and on Saturdays from 8.00 am to 12.30 pm.
Passing through security controls, passengers will find a Bureau de Change, which is open from 5.30 am to 10.00 pm. There is also a banking facility, open from 8.30 am to 1.30 pm, and again from 2.45 pm to 4.14 pm every day of the week. ATM's can be found in the check-in area on the ground floor and in the departure area before the security controls area on the first floor. There is also an ATM in the Gates area.
A spacious, comfortable VIP Lounge allows passengers to relax in peaceful surroundings prior to boarding their flight. Throughout the airport, passengers have access to free WiFi, and the VIP Lounge is no exception. Snacks and a range of other Lounge services are also available. The VIP Lounge is in the Gate area opposite Gate C17, after passing through the security checks area. Automated kiosks on the first floor sell tickets for VIP Lounge access, but passengers can also obtain them at the Lounge itself. The VIP Lounge is open from 5.00 am to 9.00 pm every day.
The first floor provides travelers with a Luggage Storage facility, where luggage is kept for them in a monitored, secure area near security control. The basic service costs around 10.00 euros a day, the premium service costs ca. 12.00 euros a day.
Ticket offices selling tickets for all 37 or so airlines that use Naples International Airport can be found on the departures concourse too. They are open from 5.00 am to 8.30 pm every day.
Parking
Short-term parking is available in parking lots P2 and P3, which are located opposite the terminal. In both car parks the hourly rate (or fraction thereof) is 3.50 euros. Parking a whole day here costs 36.00 euros (prices as at December 2018). Promo parking is also available in both. In P2 the first 20 minutes are free to park – in P3 it costs 1.50 euro for the first 30 minutes.
In car park P1 long-term/holiday parking is on offer. This car park is only a 300 meters walk from the terminal. The first 12 hours of parking costs 9.00 euros, the first 24 hours cost 20.00 euros (prices as at December 2018).

Getting to the Airport by Public Transport
A convenient shuttle, the Alibus, connects Naples to the airport in Capodichino. The bus stop is located in the bus parking area, next to the P1 parking lot.
Alibus starts from the Port of Naples, stopping at the Stazione Marittima, and Immacolatella/Porto di Massa bus stop inside the harbour, then at Varco Pisacane in front of the Port Authority, then in Piazza Caribaldi's Central Station, before arriving at Naples International Airport in Capodichino.
A single Alibus ticket from the city to the airport costs 5.00 euros, and can be purchased from the driver. For time table and further information, please visit the Alibus website.
Passengers wishing to travel from Salerno to Naples International Airport can use Buonobuses to get to Capodichino.
A taxi rank drops travelers off just outside the terminal. A single journey from central Naples, for example from the Central Train Station, costs around 19.00 euros. Using a pre-arranged transfer with a private taxi costs around 34.00 euros for a door-to-door service.
